Atmosphere scientists have divided the Atmosphere

Into four main layers.

BIOSPHERE

This is the name given to the relatively the layer at the earth’s

Surface which supports life. It embraces the lower regions

of the Atmosphere the soil and the hydrosphere (the water

of the earth).

LITHOSPHERE

The outer shell of the earth.

It includes the crust continents and plants.

FLOOD

A great flow of water over what is usually dry land

FOOD CHAIN

involve in one or more food chains and every food chain

begins with a plant. Chose any animal you like and follow

is food chain back within four or five steps you will arrive at

a plant. Plants are the only organism able to incorporate the

sun’s energy into food (see photosynthesis) and all animals

are therefore dependent upon plants. Food chain are also

called energy chains because it is through the various

links in these chains that animals get their energy.
